Bring your sketchpads, drawing pencils and sass – this is one back to school Sketchy that will be blazingly etched into your memory and drawing pads alike.
Join some of your favorite Houston Dr. Sketchy peeps tonight (Saturday, August 15th) from 7pm – midnight at Caroline Collective (4820 Caroline) for the Information Superhighway gathering! It’s a meeting of the minds (and livers – free booze, people) for area artists, hackers, geeks and rebels. Be there.
It will be a very laid back evening spent imbibing free Saint Arnold’s beer, margaritas, barbecue and other fixins’. Stay for the great people, bring a t-shirt to screenprint, witness some laser graffiti and get crafty with Sarah from Sew Crafty!

We had a great group of sketchers (including some of our Houston Sketchy all stars) our for the very first Sketches and Pints this weekend at the ever-amazing Saint Arnold’s Brewery. It was hot (hello Texas summer heat!), fun and full of beer foam-y awesomeness.

This Saturday is the first Sketches and Pints event (not Dr. Sketchy, but another great place for artists to draw – and sell their work!) at Saint Arnold’s Brewery – come for the tour and tasting, stay for the kick ass artists. $5 gets you into the brewery at 1pm. Ciao bellos!
We had a great July Houston Sketchy! Thanks to our great artists and sex pot model Tracy, we celebrated the hot and sultry summer afternoon with ink, paper, cupcake icing and army boots.
