Sketches and Pints on July 18th at St. Arnold’s Brewery!
We’ll be holding our very first Sketches and Pints events on Saturday, July 18th at Saint Arnold’s Brewery!
Here’s how it works:
- We select 10 kick ass artists (first come, first serve)
- We all show up early to Saint Arnold’s before the brewery tour rush begins to set up and stake out good seats
- You drink beer, draw, paint, sketch, whatevah to your heart’s content
- You sell your creations to the (literally) hundreds of folks that will be enjoying their Saturday right where you are!
There won’t have any models at this event, just you and your imaginations — or hey, if you’re feeling feisty maybe you can recruit 🙂
Why are we doing this?
For the artists: We want there to be a regular venue for local Houston artists to get exposure, have a chance to relax and create over beer and then make a little extra cash selling your genius to the masses.
For the rest of us: We also know that Houston loves our artists! Sketches and Pints will give folks of all walks of life a chance to rub elbows with some amazing talent, as well as pick up some affordable pieces to show off to their pals.
We’ll be meeting every month at various venues (sometimes during the week, sometimes during the weekends to mix it up a bit) so you’ll have plenty of chances to join in!
This month we are limiting our artists to 10 folks (to accomodate for the amazing crowd that will be at Saint Arnold’s this month), please shoot us an email (happykatie at houstonsketchy dot com) or leave a comment with your contact info.
This is going to be fun-fun-fun — and if you’re not in the drawing mood, be sure to stop by for a $5 brewery tour and free beer! WOO HOO!
